I. The internet was first created for academics, government and military. Now it is used a lot for information, but now it's branched out to entertainment as much as academic.
a. people don't even need to know a computer language, such as HTML, in order to create their own websites or blogs. Now you can just go to blogger and it creates the template for you and you just fill in the info.
b. Programming isn't the only reason for a computer. It's a personal experience now, people have their personal sites, such as MySpace, Facebook, Igoogle, and Blogger.com

II. Three essential questions of Instructional Design:
a. Where are we going?
b. How are we going to get there?
c. How do we know we got there?

Most scenarios in education and business woudl rather have something accomplished instead of focusing on the outcome; outcomes odn't always mean success. Instruction sometimes fail.

III. Four types of criterion-referenced tests:
a. Entry behaviors test
b. Pre-Test
c. Post-Test
d. Practice Test

IV. Rubrics
